For Dentist: D2 Dental of Michigan, P.C. seeks a General Dentist in Detroit, MI. (Mack)

Duties: Provide excellent dental treatment and patient education in accordance with guidelines

approved, issued and regulated by the state, including: providing comprehensive patient education

regarding proper oral hygiene and any post-operative instructions. General duties include: oral

prophylaxis, preliminary periodontal examinations involving diagnostic tests and x-rays, oral

health education, preparation of treatment plans for plaque control, identification of problematic

areas for the Dentist to further evaluate and diagnose, application of topical fluorides to the teeth.

Dentist shall supervise dental assistants and hygienist in course of providing dental care to patients.

Requires a Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Dentistry (DMD). Position requires any

amount of experience in diagnosing dental caries and periodontal health; restoring or extracting

teeth when appropriate; performing root canal therapy; and, preparing and adjusting crown and

bridge, partial and full denture appliances. Travel to various offices in Michigan will be required.
